Recently, we were made aware that some unscrupulous dealers are selling the "Korean-version" Styleaudio products on various internet sites to customers lived outside Korea, most notably eBay. However, please be aware that the products they are offering are not designed for use outside of Korea, and are only suitable for use in Korea with Korean power standards.
As our products require the correct power voltage and frequency in order to produce the best sound quality,and operate within specificaiton and design tolerance. Therefore, we officially prohibit selling Korean-version Styleaudio products outside of Korea.
However some unscrupulous dealers (smugglers!), currently at least two on eBay, are ignoring our policy and warnings, only concerned with their own benefit and pocketbook and NOT our brand image of "best sound quality". We feel strongly enough about the potential safety and sound quality issues due to the use of a Korean-version Styleaudio products in any country besides Korea, that we felt compelled to post this announcement.
Please note the following and please be sure that who you are buying from is an authorized dealer.
1. Styleaudio products are never shipped directly from Korea to a customer outside of Korea. If a dealer claims that the product will be directly "shipped from Korea", be very wary. They are likely selling the Korean-version which includes the Korean power adapter (220V/60Hz) and Korean user's manual.
2. Styleaudio is only offering our "designed for export" product via authorized dealers and distributors. These dealers and distributors will generally ship to you from your own country. The products delivered from your countries are "designed for export" products and we strongly recommend to use this, not Korean-version.
3. All official products provided by our authorized dealers are fully guaranteed against any defects for one year, however, all Korean-versions selling by unauthorized dealers (smugglers!) are NOT guaranteed and we will NOT offer any service or assistance in the event of a problem.
